About Monte Salsman
Monte Salsman is chief operating officer for Winsupply Inc., headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. As COO, Salsman oversees the support operations of nearly 500 Winsupply local companies across the United States.
Winsupply owns a majority equity stake in nearly 600 local companies across the United States. Collectively, Winsupply is known as The Winsupply Family of Companies and includes Win-branded locations, Noland Company, Carr Supply, Security Plumbing & Heating, and Wyatt Irrigation. The companies conduct business-to-business wholesale distribution of supplies and materials in plumbing and heating; hydronics; pipe, valves and fittings; HVAC and refrigeration; electrical; fastening hardware; waterworks and utility; pumps; turf irrigation and landscape; and fire system fabrication.
Salsman joined Winsupply in November 2006 from Johnstone Supply in Portland, Oregon, where he was senior vice president, sales and marketing for the $1 billion distributor of heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. Prior to that, he held operations positions of increasing responsibility with WESCO Distribution, Platt Electric Supply and Westinghouse Electric Supply.
He has a bachelor of science degree in physics from Oregon State University, a master of science degree in marketing and a master of business administration degree from Marylhurst University.
