About Benjamin Middleton

Benjamin Middleton has spent more than 25 years in the HVAC industry, building a career that has given him a unique perspective on nearly every side of the business. He has worked as an installer, service technician, comfort advisor, HVAC business owner, consultant, territory sales manager, and business consultant. Today, Ben serves as North American Sales and Business Training Director for Daikin Comfort Technologies, supporting the Daikin, Goodman, and Amana brands.

Having spent much of his career working directly with HVAC contractors, Ben understands that sustainable growth requires more than simply selling more equipment. It requires developing people, creating repeatable processes, improving the customer experience, and building a business model where the contractor, employee, customer, distributor, and manufacturer can all win.

Today, Ben leads sales and business training strategies designed to turn knowledge and capability into measurable business results. His work includes role-based learning, experiential training, sales and leadership development, dealer business training, simulation and immersive learning, and field activation strategies. A major focus of his work is connecting training to execution—measuring whether new skills and behaviors are being applied in the field and ultimately translating into improved business performance.

Ben is passionate about helping HVAC professionals navigate a rapidly changing industry, including affordability and financing, inverter technology, artificial intelligence, evolving consumer expectations, and the changing role of the HVAC salesperson and business owner. He believes the companies that lead the next generation of HVAC will be those that invest as intentionally in developing their people as they do in developing their products and technology.

Ben holds certificates in Advanced Conflict Resolution and SHERPA Executive Coaching. Regardless of the subject, his philosophy toward training and business has remained consistent throughout his career: create the win for everyone involved in the transaction.

Ben lives in Katy, Texas, with his wife and two children.
